May 2021 - Construction Update

General Notes:

Project working hours will be from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 18:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 18:00, except holidays.

Neighbors in Cedar Grove Village should expect elevated levels of noise as well as increased vehicle traffic during the construction period. There will be an increase of activity outside of the construction fence lines as equipment and materials are delivered.

We would like to thank residents for their continued patience with the construction team as improvements are made in Cedar Grove Village. The construction team has notified us that paving work on Petrarca Road and the nearby alleyway are on hold. The contractor faced equipment issues earlier this week and the equipment has been taken off-site for repair. Residents may resume use of the alleyway adjacent to the construction site until further notice. Once repairs to the equipment have been made, residents will be notified and an updated schedule will be provided.

Residents can help facilitate this work and ensure quality and safety for everyone by:

Not entering the site access gates.

Avoiding the controlled work zones and honoring the construction fence lines.

Large trucks will be required to perform work, please watch for trucks, equipment, and construction personnel.

Ensure that any pets kept in backyards cannot escape and enter the project site throughout the course of construction.
